Another project with my students from mi Principles of Design class. This time we created characters from 2D to 3D to explore the process of moving from the paper to interact with 3D materials. These characters are representations of themselves, including their dreams, fears, fans, etc.

Music is an important and fun part of our lives. That s why I made my students in my Principles of Design class to design a music poster for their favorite music artist/group. The results where awesome, I think, because they were doing something they really loved!

Transition Installation
This was the installation presented at the Trickhouse Live! at Casa Libre en la Solana, Tucson, AZ.

The installation represents the transition of transgender people who have had a great influence in my life and in my personal understanding of transgenderism.

 “Alex“: represents those who see their life before transition as non-existing. A part of their lives that does not reflect who they are.

“Nicole“: represents those whose past lives are disappearing slowly but without regrets.

“TC“: represents those whose past lives are still there as an important part of themselves reminding us how important their transition is.
